Can You Get in Trouble for Poorly Designed CBD Labels?

did you know cannabis packaging labels need to be legally worded

Because the CBD industry offers new options every day, it is very important to pay special attention to the way you design your CBD product label. As a matter of fact, poorly designed CBD labels can cause problems for you.

One of these mistakes is failing to include the correct legal information on your labels. For instance, you have to make sure you include data regarding the exact amount of active CBD in each of your products. A complete list of ingredients must also be included. The name of your manufacturer or distributor must  be included. At the same time, you need to determine whether the CBD is full-spectrum, isolate or broad-spectrum. Proper instructions for use should also be included.

Another commonly-encountered error is when your labels are difficult to read. The proper font can help make sure that important information is easy to read and clearly understood by your customers. Cursive or slanted fonts can be tricky, because they can appear as less clear on labels.

Last but not least, you should avoid using CBD labels which make unapproved health claims. The fact is FDA has not yet approved too many health claims surrounding the use of this natural remedy.
